Childrens play sand and bearded dragons?

Don;'t use wood chips! I have been using washed play sand and re-sifting it before I use it for a couple of years since mine were about 9 months old. I know it is said it is ok to use after a year but I also built feeding platforms in my tanks so their food is not on the sand. Mine eat mainly super worms so they go in the salad but when thet get crickets, i move them to a large plastic bin to feed those.
