Can i get him to like me AGAIN ?!?

my ex bf is livin' next to me , so i see him alot at the mall and online ..... i tried everythin' to get over him , but stayin' friends with him only makes it harder so i decided to get him to like me again .. i guess i'll see him soon in our friend's birthday party , i'll look good in that dress i bought but what are some signs to know if my EX BF STILL LIKES ME ?? thanks
