Why girls who are just about 4 to 5 feet tall always wish to have a guy who is 6 feet and more tall?

I dont understand why, because to me it never look good to see a man standing like a giraffe over a woman, or even seeing a woman straining her neck to look into the face of a man while having a conversation. What is wrong with having someone couple inches taller?
