Is this awful or not for a first time golfer?What was youre score when you first ever played.?

It's all about practice. First time I played a full golf course (6000 yds) I shot a 115 , and I'm sure there were a few mulligans thrown in. I've been playing about 30 yrs, and now shoot in the 80's. I had my first hole-in-one on 12/14/08, and that was a thrill. Keep at it, you'll get better !
