Does the democratic party regret nominating obama?

Obama got destroyed in the semi debate friday. as soon as the teleprompter is gone he loses his ability to speak. the 1 term senator cannot handle himself as well as the veteran clinton yet he won the nomination. not because of the publics will but because the delegates turned their backs on clinton. now the election appears to be falling into McCain's lap. obama is losing ground everyday. do the democrats regret nominating him? is it still possible to nominate clinton?
