I have defaulted my car hire purchase payment for 8 years. Now how do i continue payment?

i bought a car in 1998 started to pay the installments . i lapsed the payments in year 2000 till now . Now that i am in better shape i am thinking of continuing the installment . What are my chances of getting a positive feed back from the bank
